Tampa Defense Attorney Notes that Tampa police have laid down the law and will make Gasparilla arrests. With all the rules listed below, it is expected to be a busy weekend. We will be available Toll free at 1-877-793-9290 to help with legal problems that are sure to arise when law enforcement adopts a zero-tolerance mentality.Tampa Police and government officials have noted: Drinkers must be 21 or older to consume alcohol; Open containers only permitted in designated areas; Alcohol may not be consumed from kegs or large vessels; Must purchase alcohol from vendors; Only cans or plastic bottles permitted; no glass or Styrofoam cups or containers; No Fighting; No Property damage; No Trespassing; No nudity or flashing for beads; No Public intoxication; No Driving under the influence; No motorized vehicles or bicycles; No Weapons; No Illegal drugs; No Prohibited Items; No coolers (unless carrying formula for infants or medicine); No alcohol; No Advertising/selling of any product or service; No Glass containers of any sort (City Ordinance).
Tampa Police Officers have made zero tolerance presentations to nearly 15,000 people in the community, most of them being high school students. Nearly 1,500 radio public service announcements on eight Clear Channel stations were made. Nine digital billboards will publicize zero tolerance policy posted.

Tampa Attorney Reports Over 150 Arrested Gasparilla 2009
Tampa Criminal Defense Attorney notes that Tampa Bay authorities arrested 152 people at Gasparilla. Last Year there Tampa Police and Alcohol Enforcement agents went undercover at Tampa's Gasparilla Pirate Fest Celebration - Tampa Defense Lawyers will be needed again this year.
In 2009 there were two felony arrests and 73 misdemeanors, 4 BUI (boating under the influence), 57 were nabbed for possession of alcohol by a minor. Five police agencies reported arrests: Tampa and Temple Terrace PD, the Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco,the FHP (Florida Highway Patrol) and the HCSO (Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office).
